How to register CSC
To register for a Common Service Centre (CSC) and become a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) under the Digital India initiative, follow these steps:
Eligibility Criteria
Ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: Minimum 10th-grade pass
- Nationality: Indian citizen
- Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge
- Identification: Valid Aadhaar and PAN cards
- Banking: Active bank account
- Infrastructure: Access to a space (owned or rented) with internet connectivity, a computer, printer, scanner, and webcam.
Required Documents
- Prepare digital copies (in .jpg, .png, or .pdf format, each under 1MB) of the following:
- Aadhaar Card (front and back)
- PAN Card
- Passport-sized photograph
- Proof of highest educational qualification
- Bank account details (e.g., canceled cheque or passbook copy)
- Police verification report or Indian passport
- Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC) Certificate
- Bank BC Certificate
Registration Process
Obtain TEC Certificate
- Visit [cscentrepreneur.in](https://cscentrepreneur.in/login) to register and complete the Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC).
- Upon completion, you'll receive a TEC Certificate Number, which is mandatory for CSC registration.
Register as a VLE:
- Go to the official CSC registration portal: [register.csc.gov.in](https://register.csc.gov.in/).
- Click on “New VLE Registration.”
- Enter your TEC Certificate Number and proceed.
- Provide your Aadhaar number and authenticate via OTP, fingerprint, or IRIS scan.
- Fill in personal, contact, and banking details.
- Upload the required documents.
- Specify the location for your CSC center.
- Submit the application.
Application Review:
- Your application will undergo a Quality Check (QC).

Post-Approval:
- Once approved, you'll receive your CSC ID and credentials via email.
- Download your CSC certificate from the portal.
- Set up your CSC center as per the specified infrastructure requirements.
