Epson L380 Resetter

Instead of using the expensive plastic cartridges that become useless the moment they are empty, the Epson L380 comes with tanks to store its ink. Unlike the cartridges, these tanks are refillable and permanent.

A scanner is also integrated into the unit, officially turning it into a multifunction printer to tackle a variety of tasks. Yet, its additional functions are best only for light tasks because of the nonexistent automatic feeder.

  • How to Use the Epson L380 Resetter Tool
  1. Download and Extract: After downloading, locate the Epson L380 Resetter ZIP file on your computer. Right-click on it and select “Extract Here” using WinRAR or 7-Zip.
  2. Disable Antivirus Temporarily: Some antivirus programs may flag the resetter tool as a threat due to its executable nature. This is typically a false positive. You may need to temporarily disable your antivirus software or add an exception for the tool.
  3. Run the Resetter Program: Inside the extracted folder, find the file named Run-Me.exe or AdjProg.exe. Right-click on it and select “Run as Administrator”.
  4. Select Your Printer Model: In the program window, click on “Select”, choose “Epson L380” from the list, and click “OK”.
  5. Reset the Waste Ink Pad Counter:
  • Click on “Particular Adjustment Mode”.
  • Select “Waste Ink Pad Counter” and click “OK”.
  • Check the box for “Main Pad Counter” and click “Check”.
  • After the check is complete, click “Initialize”.

Restart Your Printer: Once the reset process is complete, turn off your printer for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Your printer should now function normally without any error messages.

Compatibility: The resetter tool is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 (both 32-bit and 64-bit systems).

By following these steps, you can effectively reset your Epson L380 printer and resolve common issues related to the waste ink pad counter.


Important Note: This problem arises when Waste Ink Pad is full. With the help of the EPSON L3210 Resetter, you will be able to Turn On your printer. But it is recommended that clean or change the Waste Ink Pad also. Otherwise, it will overflow. It can cause your printer damage.
